Shonyasha is a singer-songwriter entrepreneur from Florida by way of Bermuda. Her late mother, Angela Denise Proctor, played a vital role in supporting her musical journey by providing vocal training under the tutelage of John Woolridge, which gained the attention of Viacom executives. As a teen, she participated in high school musical theater and traveled to sing at various secular events. God placed Shonyasha on a journey that led her from Bermuda to Florida. Her passion for worship, songwriting, and love of Christ spills into her relatable lyrics and soulful melodies. “Music is the language that bound me to him!”
